Getting in extra protein has never been so delicious! These Collagen Cookie Dough Protein Balls are gluten free, no bake, refined sugar free, clean eating friendly and seriously delicious! The perfect healthy snack or dessert.
With only a week until our babe arrives, I have been prepping all the meals and snacks so that when we get home from the hospital, we have plenty of food ready to eat.
One of those things I've been prepping has been protein balls.
Call them bliss balls or protein balls or whatever you fancy, they're one of my go-to snacks because they're quick, easy and you can pack them full of nutrients.
When Naked Nutrition sent me their Collagen Peptides Protein Powder, I knew exactly what I needed to make.
These Collagen Cookie Dough Protein Balls are so easy to make, seriously delicious to eat and each little bite has 4 grams of protein to power you through your day.
Better still? You can totally make them your own.
Swap the cashews for almonds or peanuts. Swap the flaxseed for chia seed or hemp seeds. Swap chocolate chips for cacao nibs or bits of your favourite candy bar - there's so much you can do with them!
To make these Collagen Cookie Dough Bliss Balls, you'll need:
- Cashews
- Dates
- Coconut
- Collagen Peptides (or you could use any kind of protein powder or almond meal/almond flour)
- Maple Syrup
- Chocolate Chips (optional but I mean... why would you leave them out?!)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (200g) raw cashews
- 3/4 cup (100g) pitted dates
- 1/4 cup (25g) shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup collagen peptides powder (we used Naked Nutrition's Collagen Peptides Protein Powder)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- Optional: Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add all of your ingredients, except your chocolate chips to a food processor and process until no large pieces remain and your mix begins to clump together.
- If it's too dry, add a few drops of water or a little extra maple syrup to bring the mix together. it should look a little crumbly but will pinch together.
- If using, mix through your chocolate chips before rolling your mix into balls.
- Repeat until all of your mix is used up and enjoy immediately or chill in the fridge to enjoy later.
- These bites will keep for 2-3 weeks in the fridge in an airtight container or can be frozen to defrost and eat whenever you like.
Notes:
Don't have cashews? Swap them for almonds or peanuts
Don't have collagen? Swap it out for protein powder or the same amount of almond meal/almond flour.
Don't have maple syrup? Use honey or a liquid sweetener of your choice.
