Lockdown fatigue has well and truly hit and with four weeks to go, it won't end anytime soon - but I do have some good (and a whole lot of cute!) to catch you up on.
Recently Reading: Books - again! I haven't really been reading much this year because I've been so busy - and then earlier in my pregnancy I was so sick and tired I couldn't ever concentrate on reading anything!
In the last week I've read My Mess is a Bit of a Life (3/5 stars), Everything I Thought I Knew (4/5 stars) and How to Mend a Broken Heart (4.5/5 stars) and now I need to dig through my unread books to find something to read over the weekend!
Recently Cooking: Disney recipes because we miss travelling and Disneyland feels like a million years away. We made a copycat version of Pizza Planet's Count Down Chicken Fusilli for dinner the other night and it was SO good!
Recently Bumpdate: Because we're in lockdown, I've been getting so many messages from friends and family asking for bump photos buttttt, girlfriend has no bump, still!
I'm over half way with a giant baby but he is very good at hiding!
Recent Baby Updates: Speaking of baby, isn't he so cute?! I had my 20 week scan on Monday and whilst Jesse couldn't come along, I got lots of images and even got 3D shots of our sweet boy!
He is measuring in the 85th percentile for weight and currently weighs almost 400g/14 oz so he is a biggggg baby - and absolutely perfect.
I was so worried there would be something wrong but praise God, we have one healthy baby boy who will not stop moving around and having a good ol' time in there 😜 The poor ultrasound tech struggled to get images because he was constantly on the move.
Recent Adventures: We've been stuck at home since the end of June and both of us are working from home so the only time we get out of the house is for me to go to a baby appointment (and poor Jesse waits in the car) or to go for a walk... but we've taken the opportunity to explore our neighbourhood.
This is the view we stumbled across the other weekend! So pretty!
Recent Projects: I started painting our stair risers because our new flooring and stair treads was supposed to be laid this weekend.... butttt because we're in one of the "red zone" local government areas we can't have any trades working at our house so our flooring has been pushed back until after lockdown.
I really need to get on and finish painting the stairs while I have no bump though - because if I wait too long I might find it a bit difficult, haha!
Recently Eating: Alllll the fresh fruit and veggies. I have a mandarin obsession at the moment, which is good because I accidentally over ordered on our online grocery shop and ended up with a crazy amount of mandarins 😜
Recently Receiving: The sweetest baby gift from my beautiful friend Claire! We cannot wait to put our little guy in this sweet Minnesota themed outfit! Blog friends really are the best friends! ❤️
Recently Finishing: This Christmas themed Wasjig Puzzle! It only took us a few days but Wasjigs are always so much more challenging and satisfying than regular puzzles because you have no idea what you're making!
