Perfect for fall apples, this Easy Cinnamon Apple Cobbler Recipe is made in minutes with just six ingredients you already have at home. Quick, easy, gluten free, egg free and so delicious. Perfect served warm with a scoop of ice cream.

Whilst it's technically Spring in Australia right now, it's been feeling more like Fall this week in Sydney with cold, gloomy weather.... so whilst friends and family in the US are apple picking and eating all things fall, I thought I'd join them with a delicious Cinnamon Apple Cobbler Recipe.

Warm and gooey, this Apple Cobbler was made for cooler days. Simply mix, bake and spoon into a bowl with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Heaven

Let me share the recipe with you! >>

Perfect for fall apples, this Easy Cinnamon Apple Cobbler Recipe is made in minutes with just six ingredients you already have at home. Quick, easy, gluten free, egg free and so delicious. Perfect served warm with a scoop of ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 100g butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup (120g) gluten free self raising flour*, sifted
  • Pinch of cinnamon
For the Topping
  • 2 cups apple slices (canned or fresh - we used canned pink lady apple)
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/355F.
  2. Line an 8-9" pan with baking paper and set aside.
  3. Add the butter and sugar into a mixer, beating until your sugar is light and fluffy.
  4. Add the milk, flour and cinnamon, mixing on a low speed until combined and then beating for 1 minute to make the mix light and fluffy.
  5. Spoon your mixture into your lined baking pan, smoothing to form an even layer.
  6. Add your apple slices on top and sprinkle with your cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the edges are set and the top is golden.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream.

Notes:
