Hello there! Happy Friday - and Happy Birthday to Jesse!
This week definitely wasn't the birthday week I was planning for Jesse. It's been emotional, difficult, stressful, frustrating, boring - but there's also been fun and laughter mixed in amongst it all.
That's kind of life right now though, right?
But I want to push aside the not so great and celebrate the great instead.
Here's what's been happening in our world this week! >>
Recently Decorating: For Easter! Even though Easter will be very different this year, I think we should still make the most of it - so I wrote a guest post for Everten sharing 4 Ways to Celebrate Easter at Home - along with this pretty table setting! 😍
Recently Crafting: This Elsa for our front windows 😜 We've got teddies - but I wanted to step it up with some Disney fun too!
It's all made out of cardboard, with everything except the castle background cut on the Cricut!
Recently Playing: ALLLL the board games so we're not totally bored.
This week I had a bunch of new board games arrive that I ordered on Amazon, so we've been playing those + a few old faves.
So far this week, we've played:
- Dragon Slayer (new and SO good!)
- Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego
- Ice Cool (such a fun game - and would be perfect for the whole family!)
And we've got three new games to try this weekend!
Recent Sadness: Sad = seeing little kids' reactions to the playgrounds being closed. Glad = that playgrounds are closed because they are likely germ havens - and also one of the places people get together in big groups in our neighbourhood!
Recently Feeling: Conflicted about how I feel about all this time at home. On the one hand, I kind of like it - but on the other, I am SO bored and feel like I need to be around people and outside of my house doing things. I hate sitting around at home so I'm having to keep myself busy so I don't go crazy.
Recently Posting: This Tater Tot Crusted Quiche Recipe that we are OBSESSED with.
But tell me,
How has your week been?
What's keeping you sane?
