Hello there! Happpyyyy Friday!
This week has been such a crazy week that I actually struggled to get out of bed this morning... and as a morning person, that rarely happens.
It was also raining and gloomy and I could have happily stayed in bed with a book for at least two hours longer (I would have said all day, but anyone who knows me would know that is highly unlikely).
But alas, the weekend is here and ours is jam packed full of exciting things. Fundraisers, birthday parties, hanging out with friends - all the things that make weekends all the more exciting!
But first, let me catch you up on our week! >>
Recently Buying: A whole lot of clothes! I've got so many meetings and events this month that I realised my wardrobe needs a revamp - so I did a huge ASOS order.
Like last week, this is NOT sponsored or affiliate links or anything - I'm just sharing because apparently a bunch of you were super happy I shared my Pillow Talk purchase last week because I've been getting so many tagged Instagram stories and emails about the blanket 😛
My order was 99.9% skirts because they're my favourite thing - and I managed to get most of them 70% off. Here's some of what I bought that are still in stock:
- Miss Selfridge Floral Midi Skirt - $19
- Pimkie White Button Midi Skirt - $15
- Boohoo Red Scarf Midi Skirt - $19.50
- ASOS DESIGN Tall denim double breasted midi skirt - $21
- Vero Moda Tall stripe button thru midi skirt - $17.50
I bought way more than I'll probably keep - but ASOS has free shipping and free returns so I always feel like it's safe to buy things I might not like on me/might not fit properly because I can easily return them.
Recently Reading: I actually read Such a Fun Age a few weeks ago, but posted about it today on Instagram. This week I've been finishing the Scythe series. I still rank Scythe as the best of three, but it was interesting to read how the story progressed.
Next on my TBR list is Golden in Death by J.D Robb (who is Nora Roberts, so if you like Nora Roberts' crime novels, you'll like her J.D Robb books too!).
Recently Excited By: ALL THINGS EASTER! I'm kind of thinking I should just decorate for Easter now because Easter things are way too cute to limit to one month.
Recently Realising: My Bingo dreams.
We're going to a fundraising trivia night tonight (and we SUCK at Trivia 😂) but I decided that bingo totally trumps trivia because they have BINGO MARKERS!
My retirement goal is to totally be a bingo queen with a full set of bingo markers. I may even write a bingo blog, hahaha.
Recently Watching: Provost Park Pass's Disney World Tour! I don't usually watch youtube and have never been into watching vlogs, but I LOVE Chris and Amanda's videos and it's been so fun watching their adventures on their world tour. They're currently at Disney World but are then heading to Paris Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland (they were also going to Hong Kong and Shanghai but both parks are closed due to the Corona virus).
If you're a Disney fan, or curious about all things Disney - go and check out their Youtube channel. Their Secrets Revealed videos are our favourites because we learnt so many cool things about our favourite Disneyland rides!
Recently Posting: The BEST Gluten Free Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe. They're our all time faves - and I'm actually planning on making more next week for Jesse to take to work for Valentine's Day.
But tell me,
How has your week been?
What's the last thing you purchased?
And are you a Youtube fan? What do you watch?

I love so many of those skirts you posted!! You're reminding me that I need to hop on ThredUp and order a few things before spring arrives. So many of my spring and summer clothes are from back in college, and I don't wear shorts or skirts that short anymore :P
ReplyDeleteThis week was looong since kiddo has a cold and I had to get a minor medical procedure done... last thing I bought was scheduling a massage for a couple weeks from now, lol!
Yesss spring is skirt season! I wish we had something like ThredUp that was actually decent. I can never even find things in thrift stores.
DeletePoor little man. Hopefully he's feeling better now and you're doing okay too! <3
