Helloooo! Happy Friday!
If you were speaking to me in person right now, that would come out much more raspy than perky because I am sick with my second flu this month 😑
I mean, seriously. Spring could not arrive any faster. Winter and its germs need to exit promptly. But luckily I am feeling slightly better today so here's hoping my germs are on their way out.
But first, I've got to catch you up on our week!
Here's what's been happening in our world recently! >>
Recently Feeling: Sleepy! Though, not as sleepy as these pups.
Yesterday was a horribly rainy and miserable day and the pups slept all day on my chair, snuggled up to each other.
When Trixie eventually moved so she could lay under my feet, Chanel hopped off and laid under my side table, which is her new "spot".
Does anyone else's dog need to find the smallest cosiest spot? Because these girls will crawl behind furniture, tuck themselves into teeny tiny spaces and push themselves between pillows just to get cosy.
Recently Making (And Eating): ALLL the pumpkin things. Because I found a gigantic can of pumpkin in our pantry and decided I needed to use it up, As well as these donuts, I made the most delicious pumpkin cake that I need to share soon. SO good!
Recently Waiting: For sunshine!! How did we go from beautiful blue skies earlier this week to miserable grey skies? Ew, ew, ew.
Though, I do hope it's raining where it actually counts. Our dams are pretty low and our farms are seriously dry - so hopefully they're getting some rain too!
Recently Making: ALLLL the t-shirts with our Cricut. Jesse and I made this one for a friend for his birthday (who is their DND DM). I found a design on Pinterest that I kind of liked and then completely adapted it, making it from scratch in Design Space. We then decided to layer it using four different metallic colours and it worked out perfectly!
I also made a wood wedding sign for my Mum's work colleague.
We made it completely from scratch and I've gotten so many requests for a tutorial so that will be coming to the blog soon! It was actually a really affordable and really easy project - so stay tuned!
Here's what the finished sign looks like! (and it is actually straight, the photo is just a little wonky/blown out because I was using a wide angle lens).
Trust me, your girl is seriously type-A and has mild (okay, full on) OCD so it was meticulously measured.
Recently Posting: This Gluten Free Pumpkin Spice Baked Donuts Recipe you need to make ASAP. SOOOO good!
