Hellooo! Happy Friday and Happy Officially-Acceptable-To-Start-Christmasing time too!
It might be the start of November but I am totally ready for all things Christmas - and whilst Jesse and I didn't get a chance to get our Christmas decorations out of the roof last weekend to decorate, we're planning on doing just that this weekend because we are SO ready for Christmas!
But before I can get to that, I've got to catch you up on our week!
Here's what happened in our world this week! >>
Recently Feeling: Loneeeellyyyyyyy, I'm so lonelyyyyyy.
Not really, but Jesse has been interstate for work this week which always sucks. I've done a lot of work and a fair bit of reading - but other than that I haven't been doing much at all.
And whilst he was at home on the weekend, he worked Saturday morning and then spent Saturday night playing Dungeons and Dragons (don't even get me started!) with friends on Saturday night so I was all on my lonesome.
I told Jesse we're going to start a new blog called "The Nerd and The Nope"... can you guess which one I'll be? It could be a blog where he shares all his nerdy stuff and I share solutions for fellow gaming widows - or games that are nope-friendly 😜 Because usually anytime he suggests me playing a game I'm like NOPE!
'Recently Wondering: What on earth was happening to the trees in the park....
But then the mystery was solved yesterday when they took down all of the fences and replaced them with sandstone blocks.
I guess the weird felt/wood pailing wrap thing is to stop them from being damaged by the diggers (is that a technical term or just a little kid term?) and workers.
Recently Eating: Next week's recipe! So so delicious - and here's a little sneak peek from the camera!
Recently Wanting: A greenhouse! Jesse and I have decided our dream house needs a greenhouse for homegrown veggies. So pretty!
Recently Deciding: We CANNOT buy any more board games. This is only one half of the board game cupboard and it's STUFFED. There's three layers of board games on each shelf. Yikes!
Recently Reading: ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL THE BOOKS!
This week I've read a bunch of books. I LOVED How to Be Perfect and Shame on You and thought Unnatural Causes was great but didn't love The Darkest Legacy.
Recently Posting: Two posts this week! The next few weeks will be two posts per week as I'm planning on sharing my Christmas gift guides and lots of delicious recipes.
