Recent Things; Ready to BURST!

Haaapppyyyy FriYAY! I'm extra excited this week because this time next week, we'll be at the airport waiting for our flight to the US! How has this trip come so quickly?!

We are super excited and can't wait to catch up with friends and family in Louisiana before heading over to California (and soaking up ALLLL the Disney time!!!). I'm going to try and convince my camera hating husband to let me film as much as possible because I want to share our adventures with you... so if you have any tips on how I turn camera hating Jesse to camera loving/at least camera accepting Jesse, scroll right down and leave me a comment 😜

But before I get to our holiday, I've got to catch you up on our week!

Here's what's been happening in our world recently! >> 

Recently Enjoying: Beautiful fresh flowers in my office. I don't usually buy flowers for myself as I think they're a waste of money, but I treated myself to two bunches of daffodils this week to celebrate some work successes and I'm so glad I did!

Recently Laughing At: The pups wearing this silly teddy bear hat from Kmart. It looks like Chanel is hating her life here but she was actually sleeping contentedly. Trixie HATED it but Chanel realised we were fussing over her and soaked up allllll the attention, haha!

Recently Reading: Alll the books! Jesse has been away from work so I've been reading for an hour or so before bed and finishing off my August reading list. I really enjoyed Wilde Like Me (US Link here/AU link here) which I've found is written by a Youtuber... I'm totally an old lady in a young person's body because I don't watch youtube/keep up with youtubers etc but I know my sister was excited I had the book because she wants to read it next. 

The second book, Wilde About The Girl is also available now and I'm thinking of picking it up whilst we're in the US! There's a books a million right by the grocery store in Louisiana so I will definitely be popping in there to find some books ;) 

I'm also taking a few books with me on our trip! I've got You're On An Airplane by Parker Posey (AU link here),  Three Little Lies by Laura Marshall (AU link), God is Good for You by Greg Sheridan (AU link here) and Fatherhood by William McInnes (AU link here) - a little bit ambitious considering I probably won't have time to read... but we have long plane flights and I need to entertain myself somehow!

Recent Fun: Pokemon hunting with friends. Oh my goodness, so much fun. Who knew Pokemon hunting would be so hilarious?! 😝 

Recent Cute: Alll of those pokemon gave Jesse some serious cred with our favourite little guys when we babysat them on Saturday night... and it's totally Kristy and the boys club when we babysit them (four boys including Jesse + me + the male dog) but luckily they love me too - and we so love them! 

Recent Posts: This deeeelicious 2 Ingredient Banana Protein Nice Cream Recipe. SO SO good! This is something I've been making for 7 years and still love!
