Recent Things: Pain and Puppies

Why hello there! Happy Friday!

This week has flown by as I've been super busy with work - so I am SUPER excited for the fun weekend ahead of us. 

But before we can get to the weekend, I've got to catch you up on the week!

Here's what's been happening in our world recently >> 

Recent Excitement: We got our fourth year Anniversary Photos!

It's hard to believe that we've been married for four years and together for almost ten in some ways - but in other ways? I can't remember life without Jesse. I'm so lucky to be married to my best friend.

Recent Pain: I've got no idea what I've done to my right arm, but it is SERIOUSLY hurting. I think it's all the typing I've done this week - and the fact that the chairs I currently have in my office aren't the right height... 

Recently Loving: But working on the computer a lot (and working from my new home office) certainly has its perks as it means I have two very snuggly puppies constantly by my side. 

I'm actually going to get them a little bed to put under the desk because I'm that dog Mum.

Recent Deliciousness: Homemade Gluten Free Scones that are soft, fluffy and seriously delicious.

Recipe coming next week because I finally got around to photographing them!

Recently Planning: How Mum and I are going to decorate our gingerbread house at our church's Annual Gingerbread House Afternoon!

Jesse is also heading over to a friend's house for a Men's Gingerbread Decorating Afternoon so it's a serious competitive event. 

Little does Jesse know that we plan to blow his gingerbread house out of the water this year... mwahahahahahaha!

Recently Trying: To keep Jesse away from the 10kg of lollies currently in our house for said gingerbread afternoon.

So far, so good... and I haven't even had to buy him candy as a trade-off.

Recently Admiring: Jesse's handiwork. We babysat last night and came home late so we got to check out the lights as we arrived home. 

He's still convinced he needs to do more - but we'll see if we get time to do that!

Recent Purchases: Space Poo, the card game.

And I know what you're thinking... don't you guys have enough board games? (Especially if you saw our board game cupboard in this post).

My reply to that is, probably... but we've now become the board game library for our friends so it's a habit that helps the community... you see 😉 It also means we can host epic board game nights.

But why did I buy Space Poo? Because friends of ours have the original Poo Card Game which is really fun - so I decided to buy the new edition!

Next on my wishlist? FunEmployed. I feel like that would be another awesome party game!
