Recent Things: Date Nights and Christmas Lights

Helllooooooooooo, lovely ones! 

It's Friday again and as Jesse put it this morning, it's the first day of the last month of the year.... scary huh?! This year has FLOWN by! 

But before we get to the end of the year, I've got to catch you up on our week! >> 

Recently Loving: Our new mattress. Seriously, the other day we woke up and decided that's what heaven must feel like. It's so cosy and almost makes me not want to get out of bed - except I now sleep so good that I have so much energy and want to get up. 

Recently Laughing At: The middle doormat. I don't think I'd be able to stop laughing if I randomly came across this on someone's doorstep.

Recent Date Nights: The first date night since Hawaii, I think! We headed out to see Daddy's Home 2 on Wednesday night and it was so good!! We saw the first one when we were in NZ and had to kill 16 or so hours when our flight and it was pretty good - but this one was so much better!

Recently Soaking Up: The beauty of the world around me. I walk through the park just about every morning - but it never ceases to amaze me. I love nothing more than soaking up the beauty of it all. How lucky are we to get to live on this incredible earth?! God is so good!

Recent Excitement: Book deliveries! I was so sick over the weekend but so glad to have a package of books arrive!

Recently Smelling: My Mum's Christmas pudding boiling away over the weekend. Smells like Christmas!

Recent Christmassing: THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ARE UP! Jesse worked super hard and put them up last Saturday and we switched them on for the first time last night! He's still planning on adding more though because he's on a mission to out-do everyone in the neighbourhood, haha!
