Helloooo lovely one! It's Friday again and we have a big weekend of celebration ahead of us. My Dad turned 60 on Tuesday and this weekend we're celebrating with friends and family - before celebrating my own birthday next Saturday!
But before we get to that, I've got to catch you up on the busy week we've had!

Recent Reads: I finished Operation Sunshine and loved it.... and then I found out something quite amusing! My friend Ali had only dropped the book off to the bookshop (it's a secondhand bookshop) the week before and that's why I'd never seen it before. She'd originally bought it at the bookshop for $6 which explains the initial price marked in the book and I picked it up for just $1!

Recent Outings: A trip back in time to the new vintage styled Milk Bar near our house! We went for my Dad's birthday lunch and whilst they didn't have any gluten free options, they did have tea!
And don't I wish I wasn't a coeliac because I saw so many people eating croissants and delicious cakes, haha!
Recent Games: The board game addiction is still strong! This week we played Princess and the Goblin (my fave! Especially because I won 2 out of three rounds in less than two turns) and Antidote (which we played for the first time and at first I was confused but quickly picked up on the strategy).
Then we played Squirrels! (another new favourite!) and Upwords which is kind of like Scrabble - but you can place letters on top of existing words to make new ones and the scoring is much simpler.
Recently Loving: ALL the Trixie snuggles! She's currently snuggled into my chest like a koala as I write as she was begging for me to pick her up.

Recently Thankful: For beautiful blue sky days! Sydney's weather has been lovely lately - though I wish the temperature would go up a few degrees because I really want to wear dresses but it's still too cold.
