It's WEDNESDAY and you know what that means? My random thoughts are about to flood the blog... but don't worry, if you're a regular around here you'll know that always means the cartoons are back!
I'm just thinking out loud here, but I'd love to hear what's on your mind too - so be sure to flood the comment section with your thoughts too!
Let's get rambling! >>
Major #FirstWorldProblems here but yesterday the internet was out at home and our office (the downfall of living literally 200m from your office) for 6 hours and I realised just how much I rely on it... especially when my phone internet was also down, I barely had reception to call anyone and my house phone was out as well.
Not only could I not get blog stuff done, I also couldn't do any work. I couldn't access my emails, I couldn't upload content, I couldn't call clients and so what did I do? I did as much as I possibly could in word documents to transfer and upload later.
But moving on to more successful things.... I SURVIVED ZUMBA on the weekend!
Firstly, I did not die. Secondly, it was way easier than expected - and thirdly? I learnt that I need to say TTFN to my comfort zone more often because it was so much fun!
At first I felt like it was way too easy, however, we got about 3/4 of the way through and the instructor called our CHALLENGE SONG and all of a sudden we have 2 and 1/2 minutes of straight squatting and girl was definitely feeling it then :P
Squat holds for five seconds over and over and over broken up by thirty second holds and then followed up by more dancing.
Both L and I were totally feeling it on Sunday and Monday but we cannot wait to go back! Saturday mornings shall now be Zumba mornings for the two of us!
Needless to say, considering I have a disability (or what I like to call unique ability) which stopped me from dancing and doing sports my entire childhood, I was feeling pretty accomplished afterwards ;) Erbs Palsy can eat my dust.
Tuesdays are always Taco Tuesdays in our house (or Mexican Martes, because we don't always have traditional tacos) and yesterday we decided tacos were probably the one food we could eat all day every day and not get sick of. Well not just tacos... but taco meat turned into delicious concoctions.
Once I spoke about creating a taco twist cookbook and I really need to do that.... 365 different ways to eat taco meat! Yum!
But tell me, what's one meal or cuisine you could eat over and over again?
Do you rely on the internet for your work?
And what's been on your mind lately?
