Why, hello there! It's Friday!
This week has been one of those weeks where I've just felt completely and utterly exhausted and in need of a holiday. I'm not even exaggerating... on Monday I was so out of it that I turned up for a doctor's appointment a whole week early.
Yuh.... so I'm definitely ready for a weekend! But before we get to the weekend business,
Let me fill you in on what's been happening in our world recently! >>
Recent Fun: Bounce Off! We spotted Bounce Off for just $15 in the Big W toy sale catalogue and knew we needed it?
Why? Because one of our friends, Craig, has this ridiculous
I totally smashed Jesse so who knows! I may reign victorious! Mwahahahaha!
Recent Successes: I FINISHED THE BLACK AND WHITE COLOURING IN PUZZLE! I probably called it 2340230402340 different names and beat my head against the table for at least a few hours, however, I managed to finish it!
Now I just need to colour it all in... so far the bottom left whale is coloured in and some of the swirly bits and that's about it.
Recent Obsession: This is Jesse's obsession and it's not recent.... FIRE.
Boy can't get enough of his firepit.... so much so that he's planning on taking it to a friend's house tomorrow for a manly barbeque and beer brewing day.
Recent Laughs: Jesse went with me when I went to vote on Saturday solely because he wanted a sausage sandwich. #democracysausage in action right there.
International readers, Australia is weird and we always have sausage sizzles and barbecues on election day because most of the polling places (where you go to vote) are at schools and the schools use it as an opportunity to raise money!
Recent Mail: I'm currently working on compiling a big ol' list of Subscription Boxes that Ship to Australia as I know many of you have been asking!
Not only do subscription boxes make awesome gift ideas (we love them for our friends and family overseas as it's so much easier than paying $$$$$$$$ to ship from Australia and we can send them more things!) they also make for awesome happy mail!
This week Soxy Beast arrived at our door with a brand new pair of socks. This is an Australian based subscription box that not only gives you an awesome pair of artist designed socks every month - but also gives back to charity! May's sock (pictured) was designed by Steve Tillbrook and inspired by his belief that everyone should put their best foot forward. The charity for that month was Wear for Success which is dedicated to helping disadvantaged men and women secure jobs and overcome barriers to employment through training and advice as well as free quality clothing to wear to interviews.

The Bondi Box also arrived on our doorstep this week, jam packed with health and fitness products! Whilst the boxes aren't gluten free (so not a great idea for a coeliac) they're perfect for those who love trying new healthy products and this one had cacao powder, The Fit Foodie's Cookie Dough Protein Ball mix and everything else you see above!
Recent Decision: SUPER SALAD SUNDAYS. The last couple of weeks we've had busy Sundays so come Sunday night, we wanted something quick, easy and delicious. Last Sunday we decided Sundays should be Super Salad Sundays where dinner is a salad jam packed full of goodness (Jesse has made it mandatory that the salads have to have cheese + cashews/nuts + heaps and heaps of veggies) as well as some kind of meat or side - whether it's falafel or crumbed fish or grilled steak or whatever we feel like.
Recent Giggles: This is Trixie's favourite spot in our house. Every morning she'll come down the stairs, stopping at the top to poke her head out and waiting until you say hello to her before she comes down :P
Recent SIL Reader Creations: I always loveeeeeeee hearing what you guys think of our recipes and this week Jami made my Healthy Banana Baked Protein Oatmeal Recipe, Jessie made my Healthy Baked Falafel Recipe and how good do those Healthy Grain Free Baked Donuts look?!
Recent Eats: If you don't already follow us on Instagram, be sure to head on over and follow @southerninlaw to see what we've been eating and doing lately! You'll get recipe sneak peeks and find out what's happening in our world!

If you're a blogger, get your own ramblings post ready for Wednesday next week as I'll be adding the link up again! xo
But tell me, what's one of your successes for the week?
And are you a board game fan? What's your favourite?
We're geeky board game lovers - and puzzle lovers!
