Why, hello! I am writing to you a whole year older and hopefully Blink 182 is wrong and you still like me even though I'm 23. Lots has been happening this week and I've been a little slack on posting so I've got lots to catch you up on!
So let's have a look at what we've been up to recently! >>
Recent Celebrations: It was my birthdaaaaaaaaaaay on Wednesday! My awesome husband took the day off and spent the entire day spoiling me and making me feel special. He continued his birthday tradition again this year by buying me a dozen cards to randomly surprise me with throughout the day.The first he tucked under the blankets so I got it as soon as I woke up, the second was a tea themed card waiting beside my big red armchair letting me know he'd be making my cup of tea, the third was tucked into the glove box of the car and as we were driving to go on our shopping trip he popped the button on the glove box and it fell right out, the fourth he handed to me whilst I was making the frosting for my birthday cupcakes, the fifth was tucked underneath my birthday presents so I found it once I picked up the final box and the sixth was given to me just before we went to bed!
My birthday cake this year was our favourite Lightened Up Butter Cake Recipe made into mini cupcakes and topped with a fresh strawberry buttercream which I'll have to share with you ASAP as it was an experiment gone seriously right!
Recent Obsession: Homemade gluten free lasagna. We've been making this Chicken and Mushroom Ricotta Lasagna just about once a week for the last month or so because it's so delicious! Naturally, my birthday dinner of choice was lasagna ;)
Recent Reveals: The truth is out. I'm really a unicorn ;)
Recent Laughs: Trixie thinking she's a human and sitting up :P She keeps randomly begging like this whenever we pick up Nelly or she wants something and she'll stay sitting like that for 5+ minutes. Girl has serious core strength! ;P
Recent Prayers: Or you know, daily prayers in this case.... that a huge number of our family and friends come to know how much Jesus loves them! Every day I am reminded of how great life is when you know Jesus and it makes my heart ache for all the people I know who don't yet know Him.
If there's someone in your life who doesn't yet know Jesus, don't feel defeated! I know sometimes it feels hard, however, prayer can move mountains and Jesus was especially great at healing the blind, right? Pray that He will change their hearts and use you to share His love and watch to see what happens!

Recent Fun: Puzzles! Jesse and I bought a random five pack of puzzles at Kmart on the weekend and we've been putting them together ever since. We've been challenging ourselves not to look at the box so we can't "cheat" and we were definitely surprised when this funky chicken appeared at the end of this puzzle :P 
Recent Mind Tricks: We're trying to trick Chanel into believing she likes food..... well, sort of. We actually just bought this bowl because it was cute and Mum had broken Chanel's old bowl earlier in the day, however, it's working!!! Little miss fuss pot has been eating her food ever since!
Recent Baking: These ridiculously delicious Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes that are secretly high protein and low carb! I'll have to share the recipe with you as soon as I get a chance!
