6 Sentence Sunday: 26th October, 2014

I feel like this weekend has absolutely flown by - wasn't it just Friday?

The weather this weekend has been perrrrrrrrfffffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeecttttttt this weekend and it finally feels like Spring!

Yesterday I decided that we'd walk our usual Saturday morning bushwalk in reverse - but I completely forgot about the ten billion and five steps we usually go down #rookieerror

Jesse and I are heading out tonight to meet up with the lovely Lucie for our wedding anniversary photoshoot!

We love Lucie's work (see our engagement photos and wedding photos) so I know she's going to take beautiful shots for us to cherish!

Our garden is flourishing and everything is getting so big!

But tell me, how has your weekend been?

  1. Ahhhh it's so strange to read about seasons that are completely different from ours, hah! You're one of the few bloggers whom I keep in touch with out of the US. :D And thank yo usoooo much for any and all prayers you lift up for me. Yesterday was such a success in every form (women's brunch kickoff). The Lord was there like no other, and you know what....? He truly does use anybody like lil' ol' me. I am naturally really timid with speaking in public and quite inarticulate when anyone puts me in the spotlight (ie: speech courses were my nightmare) Of course, it's the Lord who's the focus, but...uhhhhh all eyes were on me for a good 30 minutes. I can't emphasize enough the fact that when we rely on Him He takes away all fear of man and BAMMMMM just blasts His Words through us. All that to say, I feel like there's such a shift in me and the people around me. He's so faithful and I'm so thankful for prayer warriors like yourself. <33333 Sorry this is scary long, lol! Love you Kristy~

  2. Haha, it is definitely odd! Jesse's family will tell us about how they're rugging up for winter and we're over here thinking about going to the beach and wearing flip flops :P

You are so welcome, my sweet - I am so glad that the brunch was a success! How exciting! I am desperate to do some kind of foodie event for our women's ministry that isn't just coffee and cake (though coffee and cake is fine - it just gets boring when it's the same old same old time and time again) as we all know food brings people together!

You should be so proud of yourself - I don't know if I could have all eyes on me for that long, but you're definitely right - it's He who empowers us!

I am so thankful to have you as an inspiration and a fellow sister in Christ! Love you girl! xx
