Six Sentence Sunday: 8th June 2014

I am mildly panicked as for Jesse's birthday I bought him a voucher for a 30 minute flying lesson (in an actual plane in the air) and this morning he's going to fly said plane.

We're missing out on church this morning so Jesse can go fly this plane and we're actually both sad we'll be missing out on this morning's worship and seeing our friends!

Yesterday I made two gluten free, dairy free, nut free, egg free and vegan (phew) cakes for a friend's birthday party and apparently they were a huge success! (One of them was our healthy chocolate cake!)

I've been up since 4am having a coughing fit and what happens the second I get out of bed - it stops of course!

I just created the perfect small batch gluten free and lightened up cookie recipe to share with you soon - but every time I make a batch, it's gone in seconds ;P

We have a busy day ahead of us with Jesse's flight and a barbecue with friends so I'm kinda looking forward to resting my sick self tomorrow ;P

But tell me, how has your weekend been?
Do you have any exciting news or anything that's stood out for you this weekend?

A flying lesson is an amazing present. I was thinking of getting my husband that for his 40th.
