    1. Hello,

Will it still be nice if I miss the applesauce?

      Thanks!

      Hey Lily,
The applesauce just makes sure the oatmeal doesn't dry out and stays nice and fluffy. You could try taking it out altogether or switching it for 2 tbsp any pureed fruit/veggie, yogurt or an egg white

    3. I have raisins and almond slices in the kitchen now. Will those work?

    4. They sure will, Fe! You'll just have a different flavour to the original but it will still be delicious!

    5. Is the recipe for one serving? Suggestions if I wanted to make an 8x8 or 9x13 to have to the week ahead?

    6. Hey Christina,
Yes, the recipe makes just a single serving. We've found the recipe works best when made in single ramekins as you get the perfect gooey peanut butter filling, however, if you want to make a larger batch in an 8x8" dish, multiply the recipe by four or multiply the recipe by six for a 9x13" dish. Then you'll have the best results if you drop a spoonful of peanut butter into each of the four (or six) even sections of the baking dish and slice them so that your peanut butter filling is in the middle of your slices. It will be a little bit tricky but it will still work!

Just bake the oatmeal for longer - probably about 30 mins - 1 hour depending on the thickness of your mixture :)

    7. Just made this and it doesn't look like yours! Mine is brown the colour of the dates! Made in my bullett, next time I am going to do each step separately then mix together before freezing! I make a version with frozen chopped bananas, coconut milk, and either mixed frozen berries, passionfruit, peaches or mangos or for chocolate version cacao powder and stir in carob choc chips

    8. Hmm, the only reason I could think of that would make the mix so dark was if your bananas were really small? We've made this dozens of times and have never had it dark brown... hm!
