SIL Gift Guides: The Domestic Goddess

Have you bought all of your Christmas Presents yet? I am almost there, just have to finalise a few little details. Nevertheless, today I wanted to share some unique gift ideas with you for the Domestic Goddess in your life.

You know, the one that loves to cook and bake, who's known for her (or even his!) specialty dishes, who probably has way too many kitchen gadgets, crockery pieces and aprons but always has to pick up just one more, who takes pride in their home, who is always looking after others and perhaps forgetting about themselves? Here are some gift ideas to spoil them!

1. Some items to pamper themselves with
If your friend or loved one is too busy pampering and looking after everyone else and forgetting about looking after themselves, think about putting together a little pamper pack for them. I love Dermalogica's Body Therapy Gift Set which you can find at some Dermalogica Treatment Centres/Salons or online at RY for $33.

2. A piece for entertaining
I love the look of this Glass Dome Cheese Storer from Kmart which is perfect for entertaining - and just $15!

3. A new gadget to play with
If your loved one is a baking genius, they'll love this super cute Essentials Message Cookie Cutter and Press from Kitchenware Direct. It's just $9.99 for the four piece set and they'll be able to stamp their cookies with messages like "Eat Me" and "With Love"

4. An essential for those on the run
There's nothing worse than having your phone die when you're out and desperately need to check your shopping list, call to check on something or answer those important calls. The Sony Portable USB Charger is just $39.99 and available in 12 different colours. It comes with a Micro USB Cable so it will fit Sony devices, however, you will need an adapter to fit the iPhone (or try the Pebble Portable Charger)

5. Art for the home
Printism is an absolutely perfect gift idea. They have a wide variety of art available - from Abstract and Surrealist to Retro Posters and Classic Floral Art and you can purchase the prints in a wide variety of ways - from canvas to framed pieces or just the print itself. We have the Sirene which Jesse chose printed on a canvas and the quality is incredible. Personally, I love the Business print so that's next on our list ;)

6. A cheese board
Cheese platters are a dinner party or get together essential most of the time - so this Salt and Pepper Fromage Wooden Cheese Board would certainly come in handy. It's just $29.95 at Kitchenware Direct

7. A cute mug
I love this Domestic Goddess Mug from Etsy Seller, ThePotBank and it's just $AUD 24.29

8. A cute apron
You can never have enough cute aprons - and this Domestic Bliss Apron from Nana Huchy is one of my absolute faves! It's $35.50 and it also comes in kids size too so it's perfect for a domestic goddess and her mini me!

But tell me, what's on your own Christmas List this year?
