An Update: Jesse's Coming Home!

Well, lots of you have been asking me when Jesse is coming home - and I finally know for sure!

His plane ticket is booked and he'll be back here in just twelve days! We are so excited and can't wait to finally be together permanently.

You'd think that a one way ticket would be half the price of a return ticket, right? Wrong. Jesse's plane ticket cost us a fortune and for just $300 more, we could have got a return flight! Craziness.

Qantas, American Airlines and United Airlines - what's up with that?! Actually, I'm guessing it's probably the same for all airlines. I sure am glad I don't need to buy another plane ticket just to see my man anymore ;P

Poor Jesse has returned to Louisiana and is longing for healthy cooking - getting sick daily from the huge difference in food. I never did think I'd hear the day he said he prefered healthy eating - but we have made serious progress!

When Jesse gets back, there's also going to be quite a few changes for the blog! I know lots of you ladies are loving the man friendly meals like the Chicken and Bacon Rice Bowl - and there are plenty more of those to come! There's also lots of other things planned (one of the biggest changes I am excited for are travel posts as we can finally travel together!) so you will have to stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled!

There will also be lots of new experiences we'll be having - and I want to share them with you. From buying our first car together, to setting up joint bank accounts and finding time for date nights.

As always, if there's anything in particular you'd like to see - or you have any suggestions - just let me know! I love getting emails and comments and messages from you all - and I'm always keen to chat ;P

So tell me, what's happening in your world?
