Saturday Spotlight: Gluten Free Grain Free

Hi lovelies! I hope your weekend has started off fabulously!

The Lost Cereal - Antioxidant Berry Mix
The Lost Cereal
- Antioxidant Mix

This week, the Spotlight is on Gluten Grain Free! Gluten Grain Free is an Australian company, specialising not only in products free of gluten - but products that are entirely grain free!

They have some pretty fabulous products - I'm a huge fan of the plain lost cereal, which is a mix of Puffed Quinoa and Puffed Amaranth. I mix it with raw buckwheat groats (another grain free ingredient!) and eat it like regular cereal - also topping it with dried or fresh fruit and nuts or nut butter for flavour.

My family call Lost Cereal "bird food" - but it tastes so much better than it looks. The buckwheat groats provide a little bit of crunch and I love the flavour of the buckwheat and amaranth.

I couldn't try the Antioxidant Mix as I can't eat berries but my family did and it got a thumbs up, even though it was very different from what they were used to!

Quinoa and Amaranth Pasta Spirals - Gluten Grain Free Pasta But Gluten Grain Free don't just do cereal - they do pasta and flour too!

Pasta is actually what Gluten Grain Free started with - and they have definitely perfected their recipe!

Their Quinoa and Amaranth pasta is delicious and I really want to try the other fun shapes.

Tomorrow I'm going to share with you one of my favourite pasta dishes - even though it's a little bit unusual.

I am going to have it for lunch tomorrow and take lots of photos for you to see exactly what it is.

Want a hint? It involves pistachios.... and it's not pesto related!

Gluten Grain free products are available from a number of stockists across Australia - as well as through their online store.

So tell me, do you have any guesses on tomorrow's pasta dish?

  1. These look so good! I though of you the other day because the cafeteria in my University recently became gluten-free friendly and they have all kinds of new products! My roommate loves their gluten-free bread. I am going to have to try it!!

    1. If they have Udi's GF bread - definitely try it! Jesse even liked it when I bought it in Louisiana, the raisin bread is especially delicious!
